Grand Prix D'Europe, 1955; Giclee Print

1955 Monaco Grand Prix Ramel was the artist entrusted with most of the 1950s Monaco Grand Prix posters. Here we get an in-your-face view of the bright red car rushing out of a sunburst track. His approach was more light-hearted than that of Ham or Falcucci. The advertising art posters by Geo Ham seem to dominate the world of vintage automobile art. The poster art for many of the Grand Prix races at Monaco were painted by Ham. The Monaco Grand Prix of 1936 and 1937 are examples of Ham's incredible artistry. We see luxury Ferrari race cars speeding along sandy beaches on the Mediterranean coast. Italian artist, Falucci, also contributed to the plethora of Grand Prix advertising art posters with race cars speeding furiously along.
