Griffon Bicycles Giclee Art Print
This charming scene of a mother giving her small son a bike-riding lesson under the patronizing eyes of a couple motoring by cleverly manages to advertise two out or the three categories of vehicles that Griffon manufactured. The image makes no use, however, of the fierce mythical winged trademark that showed up in many of the companys posters or of the comedy that characterized the artists other Griffon effort. Thor, a member of the Salon des Artistes Francais, is best known for his humorous turn-of-the-century automobile posters.
