Everything about Marilyn Monroe was intriguing, from her difficult childhood in and out of foster homes to her three marriages and scandalous adulthood. Her name at the time of her birth in 1926 was Norma Jean Mortenson, the daughter of Gladys Baker, who had numerous psychological issues and ended up in a mental hospital.
