Turn-of-the Century Egypt attracts Vintage Art Buyers ? For many centuries, the land of Egypt has been a mysterious and revered destination. One of ancient pharaohs, awe-inspiring pyramids, strange camels and known riches. For those curious tourists whom have never been, Egypt is one of those luxurious adventures with historical ambiance and a chance to see another culture like none other of its kind. Although Egypt has always been considered to be one of those places that might be best afforded by the lifestyle of an affluent culture, it was made popular as a tourism destination in the early 1900?s by French travelers of a higher income bracket.The early French prevalence is apparent in the Egyptian lifestyle and tourism posters and prints of the early 21st century.
