A stylish beauty, completely ensconced in white, from her gown to her furs to her extravagantly plumed headdress to her captivating ropes of pearls, her skin as pale as cream, holds court atop an alabaster diadem. Even the Russian wolf hounds at her feet conform to the blanched schema. The awed throng of prismatically garbed turban-tots, some reverential, some mesmerized like deer in oncoming headlights, gather round and bask in the glow of highest fashion.
