Lido Prestige Rene Gruau Giclee Fashion Print
This is a very large, hard to find, gorgeous reproduction print of an advertising art poster for a very risque show at Club Lido in France. This work is by famous French artist, Rene Gruau and features some dancers or show girls dressed in only feathered boa type skirts and sequined nipple pasties (wow!..those French!). Gruau's works are highly collected, as very few of them have been reproduced as prints (those that have been were only printed in limited quantities). His unique artistic style has been seen throughout the years in the popular advertisements of Christian Dior, Vogue and many others. This print is very large and measures approx. 40 x 28 inches. It is printed on a thick, satin finish, high quality stock. This piece is now out of print and highly collectable. It is new and looks wonderful framed!
