Regatta at Argenteuil Classic Painting Fine Art Giclee Print by Claude Monet

This is a vintage fine art giclee print by Claude Monet entitled "Regatta at Argenteuil" featuring sail boats. Claude Monet was born in Paris on the 14th of November, 1840 and was an initiator, leader, and unswerving advocate of the Impressionist style. When he was five years old, he moved to the port town of Le Havre. The only subject which seemed to spark any interest in the child was painting. Monet had said that he "understands" and "loves nature" and was very fond of the world outdoors. Despite failing eyesight, Monet continued to paint almost to the time of his death, on December 5, 1926, at Giverny.
