Motos Peugeot 1928 Charle Licas

Speeding Peugeot motorcycle leaves a streak, the colors of the flag of France. The zooming motorcycle is only a dark blur, but being a French make, it leaves a blue, white and red streak in its wake––a very simple, yet imaginative way to inject a nationalistic tone into the design. Although previously offered as the work of an anonymous hand, the posters inclusion in the above reference material has let us to identify the designer as Marton, an artist employed by the DAM agency between 1928 and 1931.
