Paglieri, 1946; Giclee Print

This is a high quality giclee fine art print. It is a reproduction of a vintage Italian advertising art poster for perfume in Italy. It features a woman in sheer clothing holding a sash of flowers, by Gino Boccasile in 1946. Woman in a sheer holding an overflowing basket of flowers. Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful? Perhaps there's no real need to quote Stevie Wonder, but to be honest, those were the first words to pop into my mind as I looked at this offset Boccasile creation for Paglieri perfume. You can almost smell the floral essence, and the absolute sensuality of the diaphonously-draped sylph supporting the bower of flowers is beyond beyond. This is the smaller and, most interestingly enough, uncensored version of the poster. To our eyes, there's nothing obscene about the design; other eyes, however, found fault with the sheer bandeau-style top and shamefully replaced it with a clunky floral applique.

The quick frame option comes ready to hang and framed as shown, with acrylic glass and a solid wood black frame, no mats.
