Chamonix-Mont Blanc Poster Vintage Fine Art Giclee Print
This is a vintage fine art giclee print by Charles Hallo featuring a skier soaring majestically through the air as audience watches in the background. Hallo created 100 or so posters for the French national railway, which made him something of a shoo-in to create one of the four Chamonix Winter Olympics posters sponsored by PLM. His commission was the image for the ski jump, constructed with the help of Norwegian consultants so that it rivaled anything the Swiss could offer.
