Mont Blanc Sports d Hiver Ski Resort Giclee Print
Mont Blanc, the culminating point (15,782 ft.) of the mountain range of the same name, which forms part of the Pennine Alps, and is divided unequally between France, Italy and Switzerland. The actual highest summit is wholly French and is the loftiest peak in the Alps, and in Europe also, if certain peaks in the Caucasus be excluded. At Geneva the mountain was in former days named the Montagne Maudite, but the present name seems to have been always used locally. On the north is the valley of Chamonix, and on the east the head of the valley of Aosta. This beautiful piece, part of an exclusive line of incredibly high quality commemorative edition Giclee prints, is printed on a thick, 100% acid free, imported heavy archival stock. The finest museum standard archival water-based organic inks and paints are used to produce a stunningly brilliant piece with a rich, non-glare matte finish. It is a wonderful reproduction of a vintage Swiss / Austrian travel / tourism advertising art poster for sking in Switzerland / Austria. This piece is new and in perfect condition. This looks wonderful framed in the home, office, restaurant, school or gym and is perfect for the skier or ski fan! This is a rare Giclee, and is unusual in that it is not mass produced. Other limited edition prints are produced by the hundreds or even thousands, while this piece is printed only one at a time, individually made by special order only. Very few have ever been printed.
